Pitt-developed therapy for radiation dermatitis featured in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology

A topical therapy for radiation dermatitis,a joint collaboration between the University of Pittsburgh's departments of Dermatology and Chemistry, has been highlighted by the University of Pittsburgh's Innovation Institute.  The results of the scientific research behind this technology have been published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, in an article entitled "A Topical Mitochondria-Targeted Redox Cycling Nitroxide Mitigates Oxidative Stress Induced Skin Damage."
