The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center has a fellowship opportunity in Contact Dermatitis and Cutaneous Immunology.
This one year fellowship will enable the fellow to gain experience in the diagnosis, evaluation and management of patients with contact dermatitis and putative industrial or environmental skin disorders. Clinical responsibilities will include participation in the evaluation of patients and involvement in the patch testing procedure. The fellow will also be directly involved in clinical studies and NIH-funded translational research efforts, including studies designed to contribute to our understanding of relevant cutaneous immunobiology and our ability to predict and diagnose cutaneous allergic reactions. In addition to these opportunities, the fellow will have the opportunity to participate in the clinical and basic science educational opportunities available to our dermatology residents and fellows. A second year of training may be available for selected candidates.
Completion of PGY-2 is required.
