Teledermatology Fellowship

The University of Pittsburgh Department of Dermatology is recruiting for a fellowship opportunity in Teleldermatology.

The ideal applicant for this one year fellowship is a physician who has completed internship training, and who has an interest in gaining experience in dermatology and teledermatology. The fellow will gain expertise in teledermatology including reviewing electronic history and physical exam information, analyzing and examining dermatologic images, and providing advice to the client who requested teledermatology consult services. Experience will be gained in developing and publishing manuscripts. The fellow will actively participate in teledermatology program implementation, as well as IRB approved or quality assessment driven clinical studies. Additional clinical responsibilities include participating in general dermatology clinics involving the direct care of patients under faculty physician supervision. The fellow will have the opportunity to participate in formal didactic sessions as well as the additional clinical and basic science educational opportunities that are available to all dermatology residents and fellows.


Completion of PGY-2 is required.
