Yuri Bunimovich, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor who joined the Department of Dermatology in 2015 after completing his dermatology residency training at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining the Department, Dr. Bunimovich trained at the UCLA/Caltech Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP). Dr. Bunimovich received his PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology and completed his medical degree at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship in Molecular and Medical Pharmacology at the California NanoSystems Institute and the Crump Institute for Molecular Imaging in Los Angeles, California.
